How do you respond to alarms?

Daily Movement Prompts, Tuesday, January 3, 2017 edition: How do you respond to alarms?

While I did some stretches and exercises for my knees on Sunday and Monday, plus two longer walks, my injury knee is massively complaining today. So I have been setting an alarm at work that simply says, “Get up and move!” And while not every alarm in my life works, today I have been heeding this one. And each time, I start in pain and I end up moving better by the end of the simple 5 minute movement.

Are there tasks or stretches or movements that you are reluctant to do regularly, but when you do them you feel better afterwards? Which alarms or reminders might work to encourage you?

What movement choices do you have planned today? Or spontaneously tried? Can we cheer for you today?
