Daily Movement Prompts, Saturday, March 4, 2017 edition: Just Do It
When it comes to movement, activity, or exercise, do you ever find yourself saying, “Fine, I’ll just do it.” Some days, there’s a level of, “Ugh, I don’t wanna!” that I have to overcome. And what’s odd: Most times, once I’ve gotten up to move, I enjoy the activity.
What is it that makes us so reluctant? (That’s rhetorical, I don’t expect we have good answers for that.) I know I enjoy the movement, I know I feel great afterwards, so why would I postpone something enjoyable that feels great?
Are you facing that at all? Do you need to just go do the movement or activity that you love that makes you feel great?
